Katherine’s passion for performing began at a young age, driving her to train at the renowned Addict Dance Academy in England. With over a decade of professional experience, her career highlights include performing on cruise ships, televised productions, and live shows, gaining invaluable insights into the international dance industry.
Since stepping back from her performing career five years ago, Katherine became a registered Queensland teacher holding Bachelor of Education (Primary) and channeled her expertise and passion into teaching and mentoring. Now the director of Strictly Dance, she is committed to fostering a supportive and inspiring environment where students not only grow as dancers but as kind, community-minded, and creative individuals. Katherine’s mission is to empower her students to believe in their potential and achieve their dreams, both in and beyond the studio.
Danielle started dancing in the Redlands at the age of four. She loved learning a wide variety of styles but classical was a major focus. During her younger years in dance she won many eisteddfods, ATOD Scholarships and danced with the Queensland Ballet in their production of Romeo and Juliet.
At the age of fourteen she took up a scholarship to attend a full time school in Sydney, Ecole Vocational Ballet and Contemporary Dance. Here she studied under the tutelage of Ashley Killar, Jane Allyn and Kit Letheby. During this time she danced at the Sydney Opera House and toured with the school to regional NSW. At the age of sixteen she successfully auditioned at The Royal Conservatorium in Den Haag where she completed her professional training. During these years she had many opportunities to develop her artistry in classical ballet and contemporary dance. Being able to dance the choreography of Jiri Killiyan and Hans Van Manen at performances in Den Haag and Haarlem with live orchestras was most memorable.
As a teacher, her passion and drive is to deliver a high standard of training in a nurturing environment and be able to pass on the benefits of her international experience so that young, aspiring dancers of this generation may realise their dreams.
Ella started her passion for dance at just three years old taking her training to the next level when starting at Steps Dance company at eighteen she secured a contract with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as a Dancer/Aerialist performing the cube aerial in her production shows. For the past 2 years she has been travelling internationally performing on the second largest cruise ship in the world. Ella was a part of the largest cast at sea, involved in the most technologically advanced shows aboard cruise ships to date. Between contracts Ella instructs Pilates and loves to use her knowledge of the body and pilates techniques to help young dancers stay safe and body aware while dancing.
Kelsey is a passionate dance instructor committed to inspiring the next generation of dancers. With a solid foundation in dance, including a Fine Arts (Dance) degree from QUT, RAD Teachers certificate and recent training at the esteemed Queensland College of Dance, Kelsey brings a dynamic blend of creativity and expertise to her classes. As a seasoned performer, Kelsey has graced the stage in multiple seasons with Merge Dance Theatre (2021-2023), showcasing her versatility and passion for the art form. Her standout role in IndepenDANCE 2022 not only solidified her presence as a captivating dancer but also opened doors to film projects and creative residencies.
Kelsey's artistry extends beyond the stage to gallery shows, where she has been a performance artist in notable exhibitions such as 'Sentient' (2023) and 'Evenatualities' (2023). Her participation in Connect Dance Ensemble at AnywhereFest (2023) further highlights her dedication to diverse dance experiences.
Not just a performer, Kelsey has taken on the role of a choreographer for IndepenDANCE 2023, showcasing her leadership and artistic vision. Beyond her impressive performance journey, Kelsey has been teaching for many years, seamlessly blending her wealth of experience with a genuine passion for guiding students in their dance exploration.
Grace realised she had a knack for the spotlight when she was 6 years old. During her adolescent years, she trained under respected professionals in the elements of singing, musical theatre, acting, tap and jazz. Some of Grace’s credentials include Nessarose in Wicked, Janet Van de Graff in The Drowsy Chaperone, The Mistress in Evita and more recently, Princess Fiona in Shrek the musical (2023) and Rizzo in Grease (2024).
Grace received intensive training in all areas of the performing arts in 2019 & 2020, when she studied and graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts at Ed5international, Sydney. She has worked with Warner Brothers Studios, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Grayboy Entertainment on reality tv, feature film and vocal works. Grace continues to work with Redhead Productions on frequent cabaret performances as well as now joining BBC studios for exciting new opportunities. As well as performing herself, Grace has a real passion for nurturing up and coming artists and takes pride in her work with Strictly Dance.
Natalia began her dance journey at Strictly Dance from the age of 3 and has trained all her life, to study dance fulltime at Dynamite Studios Australia. She has been given the opportunity to work with many national and international choreographers including Briar Nolet and Marko Panzic. She completed her Certificate IV and Diploma of Dance and has performed in a wide range of professional productions. She was invited to perform in Queensland Ballet’s productions of Nutcracker twice and their production of La Sylphide. Natalia also was invited to perform at the International Ballet Gala as a contemporary artist.
During her competitive years, Natalia walked away with many national winnings and achievements, spanning across all genres. She began singing at the age of 16 as has grown a large passion for musical theatre. She has choreographed a plethora of musical theatre productions for youth companies, working with well-known directors. As a teacher, Natalia strives to introduce a new light to young dancers, exposing them to modern techniques they’ll need to pursue a future in the commercial industry.
Tiffany commenced her dance training at the age of 4. Additionally, Tiffany completed a modelling and acting course and appeared as an extra in Aqua Man. Her performance experience also includes Fearaphobia on the Gold Coast. Tiffany undertook 18 months of a professional dance course and has expertise in teaching various genres, including Arco, Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Cabaret. Tiffany performed in multiple professional cabaret shows in Brisbane and also danced in a professional cabaret show at Pink Flamingo on the Gold Coast. As the Director of Luminous Dance Competition, Tiffany oversees numerous dance competitions throughout the year. Furthermore, Tiffany is the owner of LDC Productions, where she has produced cabaret shows, touring across QLD and NSW within the company's two years of operation. Currently Tiffany is also working for My Royal Party as a party entertainer/actress.
Esmée Henry is a Contemporary Choreographer and Artist based in Brisbane (Meanjin), Australia. She graduated from Queensland College of Dance with an Advanced Diploma of Elite Performance. Esmée has performed in ‘PPL PWR’ by Connect Dance Ensemble in Anywhere festival (2023), ‘Hope’ by RAD’s Made My Project (2023) and Merge Dance Theatre. She has been a part of Merge Dance Theatre’s Creative processes for seven years and began official choreography with their junior company in 2023. Esmée aspires to continue to grow her creative mind and share her choreography with the world and her students.
